About

Painting to existe, to contemplate, to touch... I build my world by stacking pictorial layers. I continue the path of creation  while keeping in mind the instinct for play, intuition and a curious look at the world.

Bulgarian painter, I studied classical painting and Orthodox mural painting. My artistic affinities are varied and eclectic. My work is a search into personal memory in order to explore emotional feelings. I question our unconscious, the uncertainty of being, forgetting, erasing, loss and rediscovery of ourselves. Inspired by the elements of nature, I play with the fragility of capturing a state, an instant.

From a artistic point of view my objective is to explore the fluid area between abstraction and figuration, in other words the conflict between representation and freedom ef expression, not as a contradiction, but as a precious complement to the possibilities offered by painting. My work is a spontaneous search for balance of shapes, colors, gestures and signs.
